A New Respect

It's taken me a lot longer to make this site than I was expecting, especially with other responsibilities taking up a lot of my time. I've always had immense appreciation for web developers, but experiencing the work they put in first-hand has given me a newfound respect.

I was hoping to use this site as a sort of replacement for social media, and while that is definitely still the plan, I realize now how big of an undertaking that will be, what with site maintenance and such. I also doubt many people will ever see this website, and it's easy to start feeling like I'm doing all this work for nothing. However, I remind myself that I made this site for me, and even if not a single other pair of eyes cross it, the experience I have making/upkeeping it is what truly matters.
